Rebecca A. Everett, MS, serves as BAI’s Vice President of Training and Development. She has served in senior executive positions for multiple companies including as the CEO of Connecting Point (a consulting and professional speaking firm) and Co-Founder of Interlink Systems (a domestic and international designer, manufacturer and distributor of computer hardware and software).
Ms. Everett also has an exceptional background in public speaking. As a member of the National Speakers’ Association and award winning speaker in Toastmasters International, she is accomplished at "regaling the crowd" with a variety of stories and exercises that focus on successfully managing personal and organizational change. The foundation for her speeches is based upon her extensive experience in designing and delivering interactive programs that promote sustained, positive change in organizations.
Ms. Everett has expertise in adult learning concepts, Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Thomas--Kilmann Conflict Instrument, Leadership Assessments and 360 assessments. She has extensive experience in collaborating with Executive Leaders to assess gaps and then design and implement effective interventions across organizations to support strategic business objectives.
Ms. Everett is also a noted author (How to Be CEO of Your Own Life: Discovering Who You Are and What You’re Really Meant to Do, published in 2001). In addition to her speaking memberships, she is active in the American Society for Training and Development, the Society of Government Meeting Professionals and the San Diego Women’s Network as well as being a Registered Music Therapist and a Marriage and Family Therapist.
