WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has approved new Real Estate Transaction Standards (RETS) for the electronic exchange of data. Recent tests by several real estate companies found "no glitches" in the program. "This new open systems architecture
allows seamless data exchange between two different applications, regardless of
the vendor," NAR Chief Information Officer Dale A. Stinton said. NAR officials say the new standard will enable MLS vendors to deliver technologies to real estate professionals and organizations to share and manipulate data faster than ever before. |
