Dr. Margot Weinstein – Bio
Dr. Margot Weinstein, CIPS, TRC, M.A., M.A.,Ed., is a successful real estate business leader and a highly sought after speaker, educator/trainer, consultant and writer in all areas of real estate and career success. In 80’s, she was one of first women in the US to become Vice President of a multi-million dollar commercial real estate company, Kingston Group Inc. Over the years, she has been involved in all aspects of the company’s success including buying, selling, developing and managing properties; hiring, managing, training and counseling employees as well as the design and implementation of financial and business protocol including new technologies.
Dr. Margot Weinstein is a business woman who thrives on teaching others how to succeed. In the early 90’s, Dr. Margot returned to school part-time so that she could learn to teach and inspire others how to move forward in their career. In 1998, she earned a doctorate degree from Northern Illinois University with majors in career counseling, adult education, and business. Her doctoral dissertation on leaders in real estate was nominated for the “Dissertation of the Year Award,” and she was initiated into the Kappa Delta PI International Honor Society for her work. Since 1998, she has interviewed hundreds of people on business trends and career success including over 200 top real estate professionals and CEOs worldwide. She then founded MW Leadership Consultants so she could use her business know-how, her education, and her insights from her interviews to develop powerful programs to help others become very prosperous.

She is Co-author of 2006 HOYT COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE CAREER EDUCATION AND RESOURCE GUIDE, which includes 12 of her interviews on career success with Sam Zell, Equity Group Investments; David Simon, Simon Properties; Nancy Suvarnamani, Century 21 S.G.R. and others. In addition, the leadership theory she developed from interviewing real estate leaders is the 2006 First Place Winner of “best manuscript in education” by the American Real Estate Society.
