John Ansbach is the Vice President of RECON Intelligence Services, a national real estate consulting services firm based out of Traverse City, Michigan. John is a native of Dallas, Texas, and heads the firm’s Dallas office. John graduated cum laude from Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Economics. He then earned his law degree from the University Of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas.

John is a successful speaker, facilitator, consultant and attorney who worked for the better part of a decade in courtrooms across Texas as a trial lawyer serving clients in business and civil litigation. In 2003, John joined RECON and now speaks and consults on topics related to generational dynamics in real estate, REALTOR® association design, planning and management, real estate brokerage design and management, real estate consumer service, risk management and other real estate related topics.

Through RECON, John’s clients include the Chicago Association of REALTORS®, the Houston Association of REALTORS®, the Flint Area Association of REALTORS®, the Bakersfield Association of REALTORS®, the Orlando Regional Realtor® Association and a host of other REALTOR® associations and real estate organizations across the Country.

John also publishes regularly on real estate issues related to generational dynamics, consumer service and professional standards. In 2005, John wrote the nationally distributed white paper discussing the professional standards movement in real estate, and his 4-part series of articles on generational management techniques in the real estate industry is now being published in MANAGEMENT CENTRAL, a management and human resources publication of the Houston Association of REALTORS®.

In addition to serving at RECON, John also serves as a lecturer on the faculty of The University of Texas School of Law in Austin. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Kisses for Kennedy, a Dallas-based charitable organization.
