Jean Ortmayer, Allied Member ASID, CID is principal and owner of Jean Ortmayer Interior Design. Specializing in custom design services for private residences, Jean Ortmayer has been providing exceptional interior design to clients for over 20 years. With an extensive background in fine furniture and antiques, as well as an insider’s knowledge of the real estate industry, Jean Ortmayer has developed a loyal client list of residents in both inland and coastal Los Angeles and Orange County communities, and is currently expanding her design services into San Diego County.
Believing that an eclectic approach can be more interesting and long-lasting than the limitations of any one style, Jean has become well-known for her elegant, sophisticated interpretation of timeless design updated with a fresh, new spirit.
Jean’s work is the culmination of years of education, experience and an eye and passion for detail. She has extremely high design standards, and approaches complicated projects with efficiency and creativity. And every project is approached with the attitude that her first responsibility is to her clients.
A deft use of color and lighting, strong architectural and decorative elements, and custom-made furnishings and floor-coverings, as well as a masterful integration of clients’ personal art and belongings, are only a part of what go into a Jean Ortmayer design project.

Jean’s work will also be showcased at the annual ASID Holiday Showcase event at the Laguna Design Center in November 2002.
