She is the founder of Ivy Sea, author of Big Vision, Small Business — the trail-blazing and critically acclaimed handbook for conscious SOHO/Solo enterprise published by Berrett-Koehler (Winter 2002-2003)— and Leading at the Visionary Edge (ICFAI University Press). She is also the creatrix of Ivy Sea Online.
Over the 15 years since founding her firm, she has shared her insight, experience, and guidance with leaders, managers, solopreneur visionaries, and other change agents in very large and very small organizations, and to for-profit and nonprofit enterprises.
Having navigated the waves and tunnels of deep change and life-altering transformation herself — both as an individual and as a visionary entrepreneur — Jamie is passionate about holding the lantern, sharing insight, and guiding others so that theirs may be an easier way.
Her soul-passion is sharing timeless wisdom in ways that can be applied in current times: uniting the theoretical or esoteric with 'engaged action', and the 'wispy, out-there' concepts with real-world, practical action. Jamie has had a life-long love for ancient and contemporary wisdom traditions and practices, including 'engaged (lived) spirituality' and the Divine Feminine.
Her education has taken her from the family setting to University and along the pathways of 'real life' over the two decades since. Over the past 14 years, Jamie has been mentored by her Cree-elder mentor, and has augmented deep experience and education in skillful communication and change management with her studies in energy and intuitive healing; the Ways of the Divine Feminine; Emei Qigong with lineage holder and Grandmaster, Fu Wei Zhong; 15th Step; NLP; and Indigenous wisdom, dreaming/visioning, and healing approaches.
