My role is to support and expand Cyberhomes’ products and services within the Northeast region. I support our current clientele base by providing revenue-generating opportunities and technology tools that enhance the real estate industry.
Our corporate goals are to make sure we bring a level of excellence to the real estate community that is both required and deserved. In achieving that excellence, we hope to provide a level of value that ensures not only our success, but even more importantly the success of our clients and partners.
As a loan officer in 1991.
I grew up in a very close-knit family in the Washington, D.C. area. I was fortunate that it was stable, loving, and supportive.
It is tricky. I have three children and am still the primary caregiver since my husband has a fairly high-level position with Time Warner Cable. I think it helps to have a good partnership at home. We “spot” one another as needed and try to make sure we give our kids the support they need as well as find time for each other. Note the word “try.”
Because I have quite a bit of experience within the large broker community and have touched many of the different aspects of their business, I am able to understand this audience. I appreciate their day-to-day needs as well the front-end and back-end systems used to manage these large organizations, which often have unique needs and requirements.
I have had a couple that have been extremely influential. They helped guide me both within the organizations I have worked for as well as with the challenges within the real estate community.
Sometimes it is trying in that there aren’t that many women at the upper levels of the real estate industry. However, I believe that it makes the women who do walk in that world much closer and more supportive of those who are here.
It’s really very simple. Be excellent in all that you do and you will be rewarded. If you’re a salesperson, be the best. If you’re a speaker, be the best. If you’re a leader, be the best. It shows, and you will shine.
And realize there are opportunities for women. It’s exciting to see what’s happening in the expansion of women’s roles within the industry.
